PlcConsole for iOS and Android is designed around local device use. This page combines the public privacy policy with the current store privacy disclosure summary in one place.

The core rule is simple: profiles, history, presets and automation models stay on the device unless a future feature introduces a different data flow.

What Stays on the Device and How the App Behaves

PlcConsole is a local PLC utility for connecting to Fatek devices, reading and writing registers, running batch operations and managing local automation data. The policy below summarizes what is stored, how network access works and how to get support.

Network Access

PlcConsole communicates with Fatek PLC devices over the local network. When you start a scan, it probes candidate addresses on your local subnet and verifies potential PLCs. Connection tests and commands use the PLC address you select. iOS requests local-network access for discovery and connection; Android requests the corresponding permission on versions that require it. If access is denied, the requested discovery or PLC connection cannot proceed.

Data Sharing

PlcConsole does not sell personal data. The app is designed for local device use and does not intentionally send your profiles, configuration, command history or automation data to developer-operated servers, third-party analytics or advertising services. PLC commands and values are exchanged only with the PLC endpoint selected by you on the local network.

Retention and Contact

Stored data remains on your device until you delete it from the app or remove the app from your device. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@plcconsole.com.

Current Behavior

Connection profiles, command history, batch presets, Site Automation data and preferences are stored locally on the device.
Network access is user-driven: a scan probes candidate addresses on the local subnet, while connection tests and commands use the selected PLC or review emulator.
On iOS, local-network access is requested for PLC discovery and connection. On Android versions that require it, the corresponding permission is requested for the same operations.
If local-network access is denied, the app does not start network discovery or PLC communication.
PLC commands and register values are exchanged only with the PLC endpoint selected by the user; they are not sent to developer-operated cloud services.
No analytics, advertising, attribution or tracking SDKs are currently present in the codebase.
Remote account support exists behind a Release-disabled rollout flag. This release-facing summary must be revised before that server-backed mode is enabled for store users.
