PlcConsole

Manual

A short user guide for getting connected, reading data, and running the main workflows supported by PlcConsole.

Getting started

  1. Create or select a PLC connection profile.
  2. Enter the PLC host, port, and station ID.
  3. Validate the connection information before activation.
  4. Activate the profile to enter the main app tabs.

PlcConsole expects a reachable Fatek PLC on the local network. The app can also scan the local network to help find reachable devices.

Core workflows

Dashboard and status

View PLC run state, diagnostics, and other quick status information.

Registers

Read and write PLC registers using compact rows and readable results.

Watchlist

Keep important values visible with manual refresh or periodic watching.

Batch operations

Run sequences of reads, writes, controls, delays, and wait-until rows.

Site Automation

Use the experimental site layer for actors, sensors, zones, and actions.

History and presets

Keep local command history and reusable batch presets on the device.

Connection model

PlcConsole uses short-lived PLC sessions rather than a single persistent connection. That keeps the app aligned with embedded PLC behavior and avoids overlapping commands.

  • Use a profile to store host, port, and station ID.
  • Test the connection before activation.
  • Keep the PLC reachable on the local network.
